P&S Intervention High-Performance Compound – Aggressive Paint Correction Compound

P&S Therapy Final Polish and P&S Intervention High-Performance Compound are both part of the P&S Paint Recovery Series, but Intervention is designed specifically as a heavy-cut compound to begin the paint correction process. Its powerful formula rapidly removes deep defects while remaining easy to use, making it a reliable choice for both professionals and experienced detailing enthusiasts.

Intervention delivers robust cutting performance to tackle common paint imperfections such as sanding marks, swirl marks, scratches, and other surface defects. It works effectively with a range of polishing pads — including wool, microfiber, and foam cutting pads — and provides fast, efficient paint correction that reduces overall detailing time.

Key Benefits

  • Aggressive correction formula for heavy defects and deep scratches

  • Fast-acting compound that speeds up the correction process

  • Works with wool, microfiber, or foam cutting pads for flexible performance

  • Smooth application with easy product removal

  • Ideal first step before final polishing and finishing products in a multi-stage correction workflow

Performance & Use

P&S Intervention High-Performance Compound is best used as the first step in a structured paint correction system. Its aggressive formula quickly breaks down heavy imperfections and imperfections left by sanding or wear. After using Intervention, follow up with a medium polish or a finishing polish to refine the paint surface and maximize gloss and clarity.

How to Use

  1. Select a cutting pad appropriate for your machine and level of correction needed.

  2. Apply several small drops of Intervention to the pad or directly onto the paint surface.

  3. Work a small panel section at light to medium pressure until defects are reduced.

  4. Wipe off the compound residue and inspect the surface.

  5. Repeat across the vehicle and refine with a finishing polish as needed.

Ideal For

  • Beginning a multi-stage paint correction process

  • Professional detailing and enthusiast use

  • Heavily weathered, scratched, or marred paint surfaces

  • Preparing paint for refinement and final polishing steps
